Day 2

Roof tiles came off – no dropping of tiles into a bin below.  Tiles were lowered by means of a forklift with an extending arm and a bin attached to it.   Back trellis dismantled – they seem to be labeling them with unit numbers and also “save” if they are salvageable.  Power washing has begun.  Feeling a little bit like a prisoner with things dropping down from the roof and heavy equipment in front of my house including garage door (this situation improved later).  They are good about clean-up, but there is still dusty stuff that you have to walk through to get inside the house.  Right now the garage is the cleanest way in and out of my house.  By the end of the day most of the roof tiles had been removed from 911-914.  911 deck had been demolished and 912 deck wall about 18” up were demolished.  Air compressor was for jack-hammering the courtyards which finished today.
