Summary for WEEK 1 (910s, by Dorothy)

By the end of the week,  roof tiles removed from all 7 homes.  Underlayment on 5 homes.   Perimeters of courtyards done on all 7 homes.    Some power washing done.  All drains checked.  They began checking the drains in the 900s. All trellises removed.  Scaffolding set up on 911-914 and 919.

Comments:  Found it best to remove the car from the carport at the beginning of each day and bring it back in at night, but check for nails first!  I found 3 in the carport the first evening.  Garage is ok.   Always check before opening the garage door especially if it is the old style that opens out.  They sometimes put things in front of it – like ladders – though I think they are getting better about that.  Things will probably move more smoothly as they go.

  1. Cynthia Kaplan says:

Today, Dec. 10th, a light above my front entry
way fell and shattered glass. This was due to hammering on the outside in the courtyard. This was not a light fixture, but a florescent bulb that fell. You might want to be careful. Also, I’m in the unusual situation that my deck/garage are being worked on, while the scaffolding in the courtyard was going up. This meant that I was told NOT to exist via the garage and for a time all my doors were blocked. The crew didn’t care and told me to see the supervisor and Bobbie took care of the problem. However, you should be sure that you can always get out of the condo. Cynthia 919
